RELAXING DENTISTRY
If you fear going to the dentist, you're not alone!
Our team of professionals understands that dental anxiety and phobia are real. We are committed to helping you with your fears and choosing the best strategies that will help you during your appointment.
CONSCIOUS ORAL SEDATION
The use of oral medication can produce light to moderate levels of sedation. Patients can respond, but generally feel sleepy. Recovery time is a bit longer, and patients need to be accompanied by someone to and from the office.
NITROUS OXIDE ("LAUGHING GAS")
A safe and effective sedative agent, nitrous oxide, can help patients relax when inhaled. With laughing gas, patients can hear and respond to direction, as well as drive home soon after the appointment.
GENERAL ANESTHESIA (GA)
Our dentists have privileges at Stevenson Memorial Hospital to treat patients under (GA). While under, patients are completely unconscious and unable to respond or feel any pain during dental treatment.
